I finished! Well, by which I mean, the film isn't "done", but I turned something in and the due date was settled. So, that's it for me.
I want to work on it a little over the summer (in between a Gameboy revival and a mini comic idea I had that is, for now, a secret,) but for now, I'm beat. I'm-a just play some Pokemons. |

Just who is Coats Bobbiloo?
Little is known about him. He was arrested several months ago and brought on trial. After being sentenced to death, he escaped custody and has since disappeared. He is considered extremely dangerous.
Film's due the 25th. I'll try my hardest to get it done by then. |

I'm finding what works best in Flash is well-rendered images that only move occasionally. The process of tracing my pencil lines is cumbersome enough on its own, but there's something about Flash that fails to capture movement all that well. I finished inking and coloring (in Flash) what was a beautifully animated motion sequence, but something was lost in the transition. I still haven't tested how Flash handles my Aeon Flux-style spartan inbetweened action sequences. |

Man, lip sync is so fun. I actually haven't recorded the audio for my final yet due to technical problems, so I'm just working on some replacement mouths. I discovered during my final last year that replacement mouths don't have to look like shitty anime or American TV animation (especially 70s Hanna Barbera cartoons - ick!!) And recently, John Kricfalusi (creator of Ren and Stimpy) has been saying on the blog everything I realized last year - that with a little creativity and effort, you can get funny, interesting lip sync animation with a minimum of drawings. |

Today at work, I forgot both my drawing utensils and my DS, so I had 8 hours to kill, (it's a long shift) and only my animation bond paper and a cup-full of blue pens to occupy myself. That is, until I became distracted by some shitty drama taped off of LOGO that Jose put on the TV.
